Krystal Marie Ball

 Krystal Marie, who was born on November 24, 1981, is an American political commentator. Her previous roles included a presidential candidate and hosting a television show on MSNBC. She is also often a contributor to The Huffington Post, a frequent contributor to The Huffington Post, and co-host of The Hill's Rising with Saagar Ejeti. In the month of May, 2021 Ball and Enjeti announced that they were quitting the show in order to launch their own project, titled Breaking Points with Krystal and Saagar. Ball hosts the podcast Krystal Kyle & Friends with Kyle Kulinski. She has made guest appearances on networks such as CNN, CNBC, Fox News as well as programs like Real Time with Bill Maher. Ball is married to Jonathan Dariyanani since 2020. Ball is able to attribute her interest in politics to being the mother of 2008's primary elections. Additionally, she was a witness to the US election results while in Jordan. She was able to observe how the election affected people in that country and gained a greater appreciation of the global impact of US politics. She was a Senior fellow of the New Leaders Council. Ball was the Democratic Party candidate for Congress in Virginia's 1st district. She lost to Rob Wittman in 2010. She was host of The Cycle, a MSNBC TV show that she hosted from June 2012 through August 2015. She founded the People's House Project, an action committee that works for Democratic causes in May of 2017.
