Kyra Minturn
Kyra Minturn, born on August 19, 1965, is an American actress. She is also a producer and director. Her most prominent part is as the Deputy Chief Brenda Leigh Johnson, on TNT's crime drama The Closer. In her role as Johnson, Sedgwick won a Golden Globe Award in 2007 as well as an Emmy Award in 2010. Following the conclusion of the seventh season, the series was cancelled on August 13, 2012. Sedgwick is also known for her role in the show as Madeline Wuntch, on the sitcom Brooklyn Nine-Nine. Sedgwick received nominations for the Golden Globe award for her performance in Something to Talk About (1995).
